cuber

simple, minimal image compression cli (can also liberate webp files!)

usage:

• cuber -q=55 -workers=5 blurr.jpg to compress a file with a quality factor of 55 (too high of a quality factor may actually increase size) and 5 cpu workers
• cuber --out=jpg highbrow.webp to liberate a webp file into a jpg.

build

cuber is written in go. compile it by cloning this repo, going into it, and building with go build -ldflags "-s -w" -o cuber . ~
